today we watched a video called: E: 60 catching kayla,
its about this girl named kayla who was very shy so her parents decided to put her in sports and she grew to love soccer. but one day after a game her feet started intensely tingling and she had to go to the doctor to get it checked out. It turned out that she got diagnosed with MS (multiple sclerosis ) which made you not feel a certain part of your body, for kayla it was her feet and legs. She was forced to stop playing soccer because it was a contact game. instead she started running. she wasn't the fastest runner at first but slowly she started to be able to pace herself, which made her able to run faster and she raced in many long distance races and eventually she became the fastest girl in South Carolina.
I think our class watched this because kayla perservered and believed in herself that she could do anything.
I relate to this video because I was never really a fast runner but I wanted to be a relatively fast runner, so everyday I would practice running so I could be pretty fast!.
5 feelings I had while I watched this video were:
over all this was a really emotional story and it really makes you think! to see the video click the link below vvvvvvvvvv
