Teenagers are weird. I'm not just saying that because I have a older sister who used to be a teenager (now a young adult) and how I am slowly becoming one (!) but its true. I remember my mom saying that teenagers are basically psychopaths because their brains are not fully formed (still) but they are at that awkward stage in between. I think everyone my age either had their mom or grandparent tell them to "promise" to never become a teenager. I was fortunately one of those people. but how can you really prevent yourself from being a teenager? If we are talking about aging up from child than the forces of nature might not like you defying the laws. but If we are talking about the "classic" teenager HABITS than yes, you can. some "classic" teen habits are: smoking, sneaking out, getting into trouble and being mischievous all of which i'm not a huge fan of. These are what teens are "supposed to do" because they are at that state of mind. Although there is a healthier happier alternative. such as: staying on curfew, doing chores, and doing well in school. now what would you prefer? driving to hawaii or flying there? If you said flying, good for you! you just took the happier healthier route. If you are just a good kid, life will be easy for you! aka flying to hawaii. think about it. if you drive to hawaii... well you kinda can't considering it is a island and surrounded by water but that makes my point just a whole lot stronger! even though at the time smoking, drinking, sneaking out, getting into trouble might seem great at the time, but honestly its not... also it will be harder for you in the long run. you will have to start from square one and go walk all the way to the airport, buy your ticket and get on the plane when you could've booked your ride from the beginning. I will definitely look back on this, or just keep my smarts.
